NCF/N is  the member of International Cooperative Alliance (ICA)  since 1997. It has  closely established relation and collaboration with ICA. It is related to the ICA Regional Office known as ICA Regional office for Asia and the Pacific (ICA-AP) which is one of the six regional office in the world and which is responsible for directly looking after the member countries under Asia and the Pacific Region.

   As a member of ICA, NCF/N (Nepal) had been elected as Chairperson of Agricultural committee under ICA-AP, and had availed of an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the cooperative movements of Asia and the Pacific Region.

   NCF/N also had hosted the sixth cooperative ministerial conference held from 3-6 April, 2002 in Kathmandu, Nepal

NCF/N has obtained membership of Network for Development of agriculture Producer in Asia and Pacific (NEDAC) in 2000 with the support of ICA, FAO and ILO. It has established relation for making mutual advantages to be derived through the exchange of technical information know how and experience through regional collaboration. It has also served as a member of the executive committee. On October 29, 2003 it also hosted the seventh NEDAC General Assembly in Kathmandu, Nepal.
