Share is one of the main sources of NCF/N capital formation and
also a precondition for obtaining the membership of the cooperatives.
NCF/N's authorized share-capital is NRS. 500 Million. The value of
each unit of share is of NRS. 5,000. At present total NRS.
1.9 million Share capital has already been paid from the total
145 full members.
Among the total full membership, NCF/N has
11 central level cooperative unions (Savings and Credit, Dairy,
Consumer, Agriculture, Bee Keeping, Vegetable and Fruits, Citrus
(Junar), Tea, Sugarcane, Health and Coffee), 1 National Cooperative Bank, 133 District level
cooperative unions . It has also 12 associated
members.
Its
major financial sources are the following:
1) Membership Subscription
2) Business income
3) Share Capital
4) Government Grants
5) Training Fees
6) Program cost provided by partner organizations and doners.
a. Full Membership
Only
the following kinds of Cooperative unions and institutions
can be the Full Member and, for that, each union
has to purchase at least one unit of share. Members are
illegible to purchase share not exceeding the 20% of the
total paid off share capital.

The
following cooperatives or
institutions can be the Associate Member. For that, they
should purchase at least 5 unit of share. The associate
members will enjoy the other power as full member except
rights to vote.

similar objectives
of cooperation.
